1. About BaadMay

BaadMay Financial Services (Pvt.) Ltd. is a Buy Now, Pay Later platform regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). We enable customers to split purchases into three equal, 100% Shariah Compliant installments. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website, mobile application, and related services.

2. Eligibility

To use BaadMay you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Hold a valid Pakistani CNIC or NICOP.
  • Have a valid Pakistani mobile number and bank account or debit card.
  • Not be subject to any legal prohibition from entering into financial agreements.

3. How BaadMay works

When you select BaadMay at checkout:

  • We assess your eligibility in real time using a soft credit check.
  • If approved, we pay the merchant the full order amount on your behalf.
  • You repay us in three equal installments: the first today, the second 30 days later, and the third 60 days after that.
  • All installments are auto-debited from your linked payment method on the scheduled dates.

4. Fees and charges

BaadMay does not charge interest. Our service is 100% Shariah Compliant. The only additional charges that may apply are:

  • Late fees: A capped, transparent fee applies if an installment is not paid within the grace period. You will be notified clearly before any fee is applied.
  • Returned payment fees: If a payment fails due to insufficient funds and a retry is required, a small administrative fee may apply.

5. Your spending limit

All new users receive a default spending limit of Rs. 15,000. This limit may be increased up to Rs. 100,000 based on your payment history and account verification. BaadMay reserves the right to adjust limits at any time.

6. Returns and refunds

Returns are subject to the merchant's return policy. Once a merchant confirms a return, BaadMay will cancel any unpaid installments and refund any installments already collected, typically within 3–5 business days. Refunds are credited to your BaadMay wallet and can be withdrawn to your linked bank account or mobile wallet.

7. Missed payments

If you miss a scheduled installment, your BaadMay account will be paused and you will not be able to make new purchases until the outstanding balance is cleared. Repeated missed payments may be reported to credit bureaus. We will always send reminders in advance and are happy to discuss alternative payment arrangements — contact us at [email protected].

8. Account suspension and termination

BaadMay reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you provide false information, engage in fraudulent activity, or repeatedly fail to meet payment obligations. Outstanding balances remain due upon termination.

9. Limitation of liability

BaadMay is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of goods purchased through partner merchants. Our liability is limited to the amount of the transaction in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Pakistan. For complaints, you may also contact the SECP's Consumer Protection department.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use of BaadMay after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
